Tag Heuer Grand Carrera Calibre 17 RS 2

Grand Carrera Calibre 17 RS2 - Limited Edition in Grade 2 Titanium en titane grade 2

It’s a High Tech GT speed machine ready to tear up the tarmac. Sophisticated, powerful, unmistakably virile and technical, the Grand Carrera Calibre 17 RS2 is clearly cut out for racing tracks. Streamlined to order to win the race for precision, the chassis is made from Grade 2 Titanium (Ti2), a pure metal ultra resistant and bio-compatible. The engine is on a par with the exterior: a COSC-certified chronograph movement, equipped with the famous Rotating Systems that are the hallmark of the Grand Carrera collection.

This revolutionary display mode enables intuitive reading of elapsed time, since the index remains fixed while the time indications rotate: small seconds at 3 o’clock and chronograph minute counter at 9 o’clock. From the Geneva stripes motif to the polished beveled finish of the Rotating Systems; and from the black-gold hand-applied hands, logo and hour-markers to the double sapphire crystal caseback revealing a “turbine” obviously powering this model towards the future, an impressive wealth of details further enhances the exclusive nature of this 1000 limited series.

I definitely want one.

Levi’s Eco Jeans

Organic denim is the next hot trend and I wouldn’t mind having a pair - especially these Levi’s eco {Capital E} Hesher Straight Jeans.

Nike Trash Talk

Since I’ve started triathlon training I’ve been biased against the big shoe companies because of their tendency to over-engineer shoes that weaken the muscles in the feet. But I’m really lovin’ these new Steve Nash Nike Trash Talk shoes which are made out of 100% recycled materials.

Bradfield Organics Fertilizer

Bradfield Organics® lawn fertilizer is an important part of the success of an organic lawn program because it provides lawns, and the microbes that live in the soil, the food energy necessary to thrive. In other words, it provides the calories as well as other necessary nutrients. For a lawn with an extreme amount of foot traffic, additional nutrients can be especially valuable.

I’ve always thought Crocs were ugly and I never understood why people liked them - but these Crocs Santa Cruz look pretty cool.

New Balance Cocona Run Jacket

An ad for Cocona fabrics caught my eye in this months Men’s Health. What is Cocona fabrics?

Activated carbon derived from coconut shells is the secret. Fused within the fibers, the activated carbon spreads and evaporates moisture rapidly, so you look and feel great while the other guys are all wet.

New Balance is one of the companies using this new fabric and I found this Cocona Run Jacket that looks very stylish and functional.

Vibram Five Fingers KSO Shoes(?)

I don’t know if you can qualify the Vibram Five Fingers KSO as shoes, but this strange looking footwear is starting to become popular in the chi-running/pose running circles because it provides the closest experience to running barefoot - but with added protection. Vibram also offers different models for different applications. I definitely want a pair to try out myself.

Marc Ecko Cut & Sew Argyle T-Shirt

I’m loving Marc Ecko’s Cut & Sew line of clothes. It’s like upscale street/rock/punk style. I just noticed this t-shirt on the Macy’s site, along with many other very cool options.

Lotus Vodka

I’m not a huge drinker, but I tried Lotus Vodka at a party recently and really liked it. There are two types of vodka they sell, the White Lotus and Blue Lotus. The White Lotus is a “vitamin vodka” with added vitamin B3, vitamin B6, vitamin B9, vitamin B12, and vitamin C, and the Blue Lotus is an “energy vodka” with added caffeine, taurine, and guarana.

Red Scarlet Video Camera

I have aspirations to be the next independent, maverick filmmaker like Robert Rodriguez and this crazy looking video camera called the Scarlet by RED (a company founded by the founder of Oakley) would definitely help get me there. This is supposed to be the more “affordable” version of the original RED camera which is making waves across the indie film production scene and Hollywood.
