Leatherman Skeletool CX

The Leatherman Skeletool CX looks like the perfect multi-function tool for field work if you’re Jack Bauer or McGyver or just want to pretend to be either. Not only is part carbon-fiber, but it also incorporates wire-cutters, which I haven’t seen before in a cool looking multi-tool like this.

Hamilton Fedora Hat

I’m more of a fitted baseball cap kinda guy and I’m not sure if it would look good on me, but I like this Fedora hat sold by Fox Racing.

Limited-Edition Di Grisogono Meccanica DG

The mechanically operated digital display of the second timezone shows tens of hours, single hours, tens of minutes and single minutes, all displayed by mobile microsegments driven by an assemblage of 23 cams connected to a set of gears and a triggering and synchronization system. The time information is displayed by an array of 23 horizontally and vertically positioned microsegments. Vertical segments are 9 mm high and weigh at most 25 milligrams while the horizontal segments measure 2.90 mm in length and weigh only 10 milligrams. The segments have four faces: two opposing visible faces fitted with colored strips and two opposing unmarked faces. Time changes are effected by 90° rotations of the required segment or segments. Involving one to twelve segments, time changes are lightning fast.

In summary, it’s a watch that looks like a digital watch, but is 100% mechanical. Yeah. I want one.

Aliph Jawbone 2

The hot news today is that version 2 of the Aliph Jawbone bluetooth headset is coming soon. I have the original Jawbone, which I like other than the fact that it’s huge and inconvenient to carry around.

You’ve got to give her props. Mariah Carey has more #1 hits than Elvis. I’ve loved her voice ever since Vision of Love and I’m definitely going to pick up her new album. Don’t be hatin’!

Zoot Shoes

You’ve probably never heard of Zoot shoes before. Zoot shoes are specially designed for triathletes and feature a quick-lace/slip-on system, fore-foot/mid-foot striking, water drainage system, and sockless wear. Since I have triathlon aspirations, I need a pair of these slick shoes.

Olympus E-420

My wife got a Nikon D40 for Christmas and I’ve been using it from time-to-time. It’s a cool camera that takes amazing photos. But this Olympus E420 is supposedly the smallest and lightest DSLR on the market, so I’m adding it to my wishlist.
