Newton Running Shoes - Distancia

These are some if the ugliest running shoes I’ve ever seen but they have a cult following among running circles. Newton Running Shoes promote forefoot running which is supposed to be the bio-mechanically correct way to run.

Nike Trash Talk

Since I’ve started triathlon training I’ve been biased against the big shoe companies because of their tendency to over-engineer shoes that weaken the muscles in the feet. But I’m really lovin’ these new Steve Nash Nike Trash Talk shoes which are made out of 100% recycled materials.

Crocs Santa Cruz Shoes

I’ve always thought Crocs were ugly and I never understood why people liked them - but these Crocs Santa Cruz look pretty cool.

Vibram Five Fingers KSO Shoes(?)

I don’t know if you can qualify the Vibram Five Fingers KSO as shoes, but this strange looking footwear is starting to become popular in the chi-running/pose running circles because it provides the closest experience to running barefoot - but with added protection. Vibram also offers different models for different applications. I definitely want a pair to try out myself.

Zoot Shoes

You’ve probably never heard of Zoot shoes before. Zoot shoes are specially designed for triathletes and feature a quick-lace/slip-on system, fore-foot/mid-foot striking, water drainage system, and sockless wear. Since I have triathlon aspirations, I need a pair of these slick shoes.

New Balance RC152

New Balance Racing shoes

In my pursuit of running a 20min 5k (and eventually - Ironman :) ), I would like to add these shoes to my arsenal of equipment. I’ve never owned a pair of New Balance shoes until I recently purchased the New Balance RC1001 New Balance RC1001 which I’ve already run 15k in and absolutely love. The shoes are super light and have a low profile which are perfect (in my opinion) for Chi-Running/Pose Running.
