The Spyderco Byrdrench is the coolest compact multi-tool I’ve ever seen. It includes a knife, wrench, screwdriver (with multiple bits), file, and slip joint pliers. Take a look at these action shots:

The Leatherman Skeletool CX looks like the perfect multi-function tool for field work if you’re Jack Bauer or McGyver or just want to pretend to be either. Not only is part carbon-fiber, but it also incorporates wire-cutters, which I haven’t seen before in a cool looking multi-tool like this.
